California is Late with Prop 12 Rules

The new animal welfare law went in to effect even though state officials were still working on a final set of regulations. The ACP did send reminders to restaurants and foodmakers stressing that “it is your responsibility to only source Prop 12 compliant shell eggs, liquid eggs, veal, and pork meat for commercial sale in California.”  Read more here.
