Electrifying US Trucking – Who Will Pay?

Electrifying the U.S. trucking industry could cost close to $1 trillion, according to a recent study. Fleets and charger operators would have to invest $620 billion on infrastructure, and utilities would have to spend $370 billion to upgrade grid networks for commercial vehicles. “This is going to fundamentally alter how we move freight in the country.”  Read more here.
