Mexican Avocado Industry Plans ‘Path to Sustainability’

The overwhelming majority of avocados consumed in the U.S. are produced in Mexico. In mid-April the Avocado Institute of Mexico announced its Path to Sustainability plan, which has officially rolled out in the weeks since. “The avocado has the potential to be one of the first crops to become water neutral”.
