Administration Working on Plan to Address Beef Prices

During a recent press conference, President Donald Trump stated that the administration is working on a plan to lower the price of beef in the United States.  He added the price of beef “is a little bit higher than we want it, maybe higher than we want it, and that’s going to be coming down pretty soon, too.” As of Jan. 1, 2025, the herd has decreased by 8% since the peak to 86.7 million head, the lowest since 1951 according to the USDA .
