CA Enacts EPR Law Aimed at Single Use Plastic Packaging and Food Service Ware

S.B. 54 establishes an aggressive extended producer responsibility (EPR) program for single-use plastic packaging and plastic single-use food service ware. In short, the Act will primarily affect those companies that put their product name and brand on the covered material, whether or not they have actually manufactured the plastic packaging.
