Ivory Coast Cocoa Exporters on Verge of Default Due to Bean Shortage

As the world's top cocoa producer heads towards the end of its October-to-March main harvest, bean supply is tight. Exporters estimate that arrivals at its main ports stood at 34,000 tons for the week to Feb. 12, versus 66,000 tons during the same period last season. “We are heading towards a certain default”.
