Norway Rebukes US for Tariffs That Single Out Its Seafood Sector

Under the most recent US tariffs that went into effect last month, Norwegian goods are subject to an additional 12.5% import duty on top of ordinary tariffs, while shipments from the EU face an extra rate of 10%. While the US accounts for only 3.8% of Norway’s total exports, the nation’s seafood industry makes up about 22% of total sales to the US, according to the government. Read more here.
