USDA Adds Money for Meat and Poultry Supply Chains

The USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service announced additional funding is being through the Meat and Poultry Inspection Readiness Grant Program (MPIRG), bringing total funding to $54.6 million. This year’s awards will fund projects in 37 states and will help strengthen and develop new market opportunities for meat and poultry processors throughout the United States. Read more here.
