Food Sourcing and the Impact of Tariffs

Research

The National Restaurant Association is conducting a survey to gather detailed insights into the sourcing practices of food, beverages, and other items within the restaurant and foodservice industry.

As the industry faces potential challenges, such as higher tariffs, it is increasingly important to understand sourcing patterns—particularly from international markets. This data will play a vital role in assessing the economic impacts of these changes and for strengthening our advocacy efforts on behalf of the sector.

Survey details

  • The questions: We are seeking information about the volume and country of origin of both food and non-food items sourced from non-domestic markets.
  • Time to complete: The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
  • Privacy: Please note that all responses are completely anonymous and strictly confidential.
  • Deadline: Kindly submit your responses by December 31.

Your input is invaluable in helping us build a comprehensive picture of the industry’s supply chain. Thank you for your participation and support.
